A glowing review of the Commotio CD Night in the March edition of the music magazine International Record Review includes some choice remarks about John’s setting of the Wilfred Owen poem ‘Futility’, which features on the disc. Reviewer Ivan Moody writes: ‘Futility, a setting of the astounding Wilfred Owen poem by Commotio singer John Duggan, radiates its own particular power … his musical response is … deeply felt and very moving.’
